Kaanapali Alii Site Map

The Kaanapali Alii complex sits right at the heart of world famous Kaanapali Beach.  It is positioned between the five star Westin Maui Resort, to the north (left), and Maui Marriott Resort to the south (right). 

As you can see on the site map for the Kaanapali Alii below all four buildings are positioned to maximize views, allow for maximum living area and increase privacy of each unit.  Buildings 1 and 3 sit on the makai (or beachfront) part of the property which is the bottom of this map.  Buildings 2 and 4 sit on the mauka (or mountain) part of the property which is the top part of this map.

Each building in the Kaanapali Alii is comprised of six 'stacks' which have a corresponding number associated with it.  Meaning each floor of each building will have six units.  Each stack, no matter where it is located, will have the same floor plan all the way up and down (with the exception of the bottom floor) that stack.  In buildings 1 and 4 the even numbered stacks (units) are on the interior (or courtyard) side with the odd numbers on the exterior (outside)of the building.  In buildings 2 and 3 the even numbers are on the courtyard side and the odd numbers are on the exterior sides.  I know, I know... it can be confusing but once you get the hang of it it's easy.

Therefore, in order to find out where your unit is located in the Kaanapali Alii you will have to decipher the number itself.  Each Kaanapali Alii condo is consists of three numbers.  The first number is the building.  The second number is the floor in which it is located.  The third number is the 'stack'.  As an example unit 4-502 is located in building #4 on the 5th floor in stack #2.  Here we will find it to be located on the oceanfront interior side of building number four at the fifth floor... a one bedroom plus den "I" floor plan with a nice ocean view.
